I bet nobody knows what I am searching for. I have realized I will forever be behind this one question my whole life. I bet nobody knows the answer either.

I once asked the sun the same question: "Do you really know how far your rays travel and how many lives they touch every single day? Or wouldn't knowing that help you understand yourself better? How well do you know your own mechanisms?"

I have also asked the moon and the stars: "Do you know how we humans adore your beauty from the valleys, even when all you see are scars and craters?"

They blinked, sending their rays in reply and touching my face with their light. Are they telling me to find light to answer my question?

I can only think of God as light. I walk and walk, closer and closer, trying to satisfy the thirst of knowing myself. What am I?

There, I found pieces of me scattered—reasons for why I do certain things and behave in certain ways. I learned to puzzle the pieces together. There, I built myself.

I do get confused and stuck sometimes. At times, nothing makes sense. Yet, I also receive light showers that widen my eyes and make my heart race.

This quest—the journey of learning myself—will forever be mine..
